Course Description

Designed to equip your unit/agents with fundemental skills and building blocks to excel in aerial platform interdiction operations. Customized specifically for your requirements, this course can cover operations such as VBSS MIO support missions, search and rescue, surrveillance, active shooter/felony support and support for PSD formations/motorcades. Students should be qualifed and confident carbine operators, snipers, or unit designated marksmen.

Note. Unit/Agenecy must have air capability and availability for use in the class. Contract air can be provided but prices vary, please call for more info.

• Aerial Platform Theory
• Mission planning
• Aerial platform assets and safety
• Proper employment of the platform
• Utilizing the platform for real time Intel gathering and Surveillance & Reconnaissance Operations
• Utilizing the platform for LEO support operations
• Utilizing the platform for MIO support operations
• Utilizing the platform for MIL support operations
• Proper Shooter / Aircrew communications and dialect
• Integration with ground forces
• Utilizing and rigging of different aircraft
• Proper weapons and optics selection and rigging

Hardware/Kit

• Unit/Agency Helicoptor platform. A minimum of 1.5 hours of air time will be required for 10 students, 3 hours for 20
• Unit/Agency T/O weapon (carbine preferred)
• Zero magnification, zero paralax (red dot) optic or appropriate precision magnified optic
• PEQ-IR, NVG (unit dependent)
• Riggers belt
• Seat harness
• 4 locking carabiners
• Tape
• Zip ties
• Writing gear
• Range bag
• Ear pro + eye pro
• Water hydration device (optional)
