A fundamental refinement process dealing with the core skill sets of the modern ram air pilot. This experience aims to raise the overall proficiency level of the individual operator. There will be no "follow the leader" here. Course participants will learn to think and act independently to promote better and safer canopy pilots.

Dynamic Canopy 2 will push skill sets of course participants that have successfully completed DC1. Group canopy control exercises of increasing difficulty level will challenge students to excel in areas of canopy control that might not otherwise be tested. The overall increase of awareness of the individual will promote a safer environment while operating as a team.

This truly unique training experience will place students in the environment for which they are training to operate. Night jumps with combat equipment make up the bulk of this course curriculum to address the specific mission requirements of conducting parachute operations using night vision devices. Emergency procedures and safety in a low light environment can be different so a dedicated course of instruction was developed to meet these unique needs of the military free fall community.

There will be some students who truly excel at these skills and for them an adjunct development program is offered. Individuals who complete this course can return with their unit or another to assist the dissemination of course material. By building strong adjuncts, course material can be rehearsed within closed military environments to keep skill sets sharp and the team an individual to look to for assistance.
